Synopsis:
Dating can be fun, but it can leave a nasty taste in your mouth. For Joss, ever since her longtime boyfriend cheated on her, she doesn’t want her last memory of a guy to be that jerk. Enter her college friend, Matt. They come up with a theory: after a bad break-up, a person needs to cleanse the palate with a little sorbet sex. Lovers for a night, but always back to being friends in the morning. The two can handle it because they have a contract: rules they wrote, rules they follow and rules they can sometimes bend. The arrangement works: everyone needs a little sorbet now and again … until it starts to be the only thing you want. And then Joss breaks the one rule they never wrote down: don’t fall in love.

A unique take on the classic friends with benefits story.
A fun, lighthearted story that had me smiling from beginning to end. It takes us on a trip from from the spark that initiated a friendship to the simmering fire that enticed an attraction to the raging flames that led to love. And I adored every second of it.
Sorbet sex...What more can you want?
What I enjoyed most was the absence of tropes. We didn't see the virgin with slutty friends, the experienced bad boy, the insta-love that blossoms after their one time sex, or any other that comes to mind. They were fresh characters with a great balance between funny and sarcastic, confidence and vulnerability. And the complete absence of petty melodrama made me fall hard!
Now, I know this has quite an abundant amount of mixed reviews but I freaking loved this to pieces. It goes from flashbacks to present time and we see who they start out as and who they end up being. The flashbacks might be off putting for some but they worked perfectly for me
